Following is some common reporting terms in sales balance report,
Gross Sale = Sales amount (including received and receivable) excluding the tax, cash tips, service charge, charged tips.
Net Receivable = The open ticket amount which has not received yet.
Receipt Differential = Same as Net Receivable.
Cash Receipt = Total cash amount received by sale.
Cash Accountable = The cash amount the cashier should report.
Drawer Pull= Actual cash found in the drawer while closing the drawers.
Over or short = Negative is extra money found in the drawer. Positive is the short amount in cash.
